***BOOK NEWS + Other Super Exciting News!***

Okay, let’s just cut to the chase…

Trace and Olivia are getting a 2nd book!

Yep! You read that right! You have MORE Trace and Olivia to look forward to! I meant for Finding Olivia to be a standalone but when I wrote that last line at the end of the epilogue, I got an idea for a 2nd book! I didn’t tell you guys sooner, because I wanted you to enjoy Finding Olivia the way I meant for people to enjoy it, and I didn’t want anyone freaking out over the possibility of a cliffhanger. (In fact, I believe that you could read the 2nd book without ever reading the first book, some things might be a bit vague, but you wouldn’t be completely lost.)

So…

Wanna know the title?

I know you do.

Alright…

Enough torturing… 😉

Book 2 will be titled…

Chasing Olivia

Book 2 will finish up Trace and Olivia’s story (unless something freaky happens and I get an idea for a third…which isn’t likely. ;))

I can say that Trace and Olivia are going on a road trip in book 2 (which is where the title comes from, don’t freak out thinking that Trace has to chase her down or something, lol. Trust me, Olivia isn’t going to leave her scruffy, fun-loving, plaid-shirt-wearing, mechanic.) And it takes place 2 years after Finding Olivia.

I’m hoping to reveal the cover and blurb soon! (if I can get the blurb written and not scrap it for the 500th time, haha)

Now, to answer questions I’ve been getting asked A LOT in the past two weeks…

Are Avery and Luca getting a book? I never planned to give Avery/Luca a book. Finding Olivia was supposed to be it. BUT you will see Avery and Luca’s story wrap up in Chasing Olivia, so there’s no need to give them a book. To write a book, there needs to be drama, and I just don’t think it will be possible for me to give them a book. SOOOOOO many people have requested a book for these two, though. Seriously, I’ve been blown away. Because of this, I’m going to try my hardest to give them a novella or short story or something. A lot of you expressed a desire to get to know Luca better, and I totally understand. He’s a quiet, mysterious guy. But I’m not making promises to give them a book/novella. I won’t force a story just for the heck of it. It has to come naturally. If I decide to give them a novella y’all will be the first to know!

Are Nick and Nora getting a book? The whole Nick and Nora thing happened by accident and kinda freaked me out, lol. What can I say? Nick likes older women. But the answer is no. Nick and Nora are definitely not getting a book. BUT like Avery and Luca, you’ll see where these two end up in Chasing Olivia.

Will Trent and his mystery girl get a book? The answer to this is…Maybe. 😉 I absolutely love Trent and I really want to give him a book. But once again, I’m not making any promises. For me, a story has to flow naturally.

Now, some release dates are moving around. Brace yourselves.

Forever-October.  I am doing everything I can to get this book finished and into your hands. I don’t have an exact release date yet, and teasers will be sparse, if at all, because it’s just far too spoilery.

Chasing Olivia-December.

Avenger-February.

*dodges sharp projectiles thrown my way* This is why I hate announcing approximate release dates before I know for sure, because sometimes things come up, and dates have to be moved. But I have a very important reason for pushing Avenger back to February. Before I tell you about that reason, I want y’all to know, that I’m working as hard as I can to get these books out to you as quickly as possible. I write fast…about a book every 6 weeks (which I’m trying to get down to 4 weeks) but I’m only human so bear with me. 😉

Now, the reason for the date change is….

Kim and Luke are coming with me to IndieGirl Con!
